1987年英国SPINK集团出版《香港汇丰银行藏品图录》一册，内文203页，作者克力布（Joe Cribb），曾任伦敦大英博物馆钱币部主管（Department of Coins of the British Museum）多年，该书收录汇丰银行1865年成立以来历年所收集的该行在香港以及中国其它各口岸发行的各种货币，汇丰银行藏品于八十年代转移到大英博物馆“整理”，1997年起，成立HSBC Money Gallery展览专室作永久性展出。克力布在书中除对每幅图片作了详尽的说明以外，还对中国的货币沿革、特别是中国银两币和外国输入中国的各种银元以及国内自铸银元的历史，作了系统而扼要的叙述，部分资料为首次披露。此部专著应为研究香港地区货币史乃至中国货币史最深入、权威之英文参考资料，保存极好
