Très proche de son état de frappe. Bel aspect camée avec les champs miroir et glacés en contraste net avec les reliefs. Presque Fleur de coin.Conçue par William Wyon (1795-1851) en 1839 pour commémorer le début du règne de Victoria (en 1837), la pièce de 5 livres “Una and the lion” est reconnue comme l’une des plus belles pièces britanniques. Victoria, accompagnée d’un lion, avance à gauche, avec la devise “Que Dieu dirige mes pas”. La jeune reine, alors âgée de 20 ans, est représentée comme Lady Una, d’après un personnage du poème The Faerie Queene d’Edmund Spencer en 1590.
